Barbara Lyghtel Rohrer

Barbara Lyghtel Rohrer writes personal essays, poetry, and articles related to spiritual and personal growth. Her work has appeared in The Sun, Geez, and Spirituality & Health (online community journal), among other publications, including the anthologies Women Speak: Volume 7 and I Thought I Heard a Cardinal Sing.

Recently retired as a communications consultant, Barbara has over forty years of experience helping organizations, primarily non-profits, communicate effectively with their constituents.  While she still considers the occasional writing or editing job, she is more focused now on her new online publication, The Invisible Map, launched in May

She also offers workshops on using writing as a tool for spiritual growth and is available for speaking engagements. 

Barbara holds a B.A. in English from Northern Kentucky University and an M.A. in communications from the University of Cincinnati.
